This LED strip is fitted with a hybrid white and colour changing LED chips, ideal when both lighting effect are required.

Our RGBW LED Strip features the latest integrated LED giving a superior colour mix and colour strength compared with separate RGB and White chips. Consisting of 60 RGBW LEDs per metre. LEDs are mounted on a white PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Our RGBW strip lights have a 3M self adhesive backing for easy installation.

• A DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) dimmable LED power supply, or driver, is a device that powers LED fixtures and allows them to be digitally controlled for functions like brightness adjustment and color tuning. The DALI protocol enables precise, flicker-free, and individual or group control of lighting fixtures, making it a popular choice for professional and large-scale smart lighting systems. Key types of DALI dimmable LED driversConstant voltage (CV) driversConstant voltage drivers are used for LEDs that require a consistent voltage to operate, such as most LED strip lights. 
  • How they work: The driver provides a steady voltage (e.g., 12V, 24V) to the LEDs, and the load (the combined LED wattage) must not exceed the driver’s maximum output power.
  • Dimming: For smooth, even dimming across the entire range, a constant voltage driver with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) output is highly recommended. 
  Constant current (CC) driversConstant current drivers are designed for LEDs that require a fixed, stable current, such as many spotlights and downlights. 
  • How they work: The driver regulates the current flowing to the LEDs to protect them from overheating and ensure a consistent brightness.
  • Dimming: The dimming is controlled by adjusting the constant current output. Some drivers may have a selectable current output using a DIP switch. 
  DALI Device Type 8 (DT8) driversDT8 drivers are a specialized type that allows for integrated color control, making them ideal for dynamic white (CCT) and RGBW applications. 
  • How they work: Instead of requiring multiple DALI addresses for each color channel, a single DT8 driver uses only one DALI address to control both the color and brightness of a fixture.
  • Efficiency: Using DT8 simplifies installation and reduces wiring, while still allowing for a wide range of color and brightness adjustments.
